Domestic Abuse - Why Water for Domestic Abuse and Trauma Recovery?

What's with the water for domestic abuse survivors? Water can be like soap to the body on a cellular level. It flushes out the impurities in the system. And let's face it when you live with someone who tells you that you are junk...toxicity builds up in your system.
So how do you introduce this water routine into your day without becoming bloated or "fat" as we know at some point he probably told you, "You're too fat!"
Simply start with a bottle of purified spring water (or any filtered water you have available to you now) and place it on your nightstand before going to bed. When you awaken in the AM (or even during the night) drink it. Make it a habit such that every day you have saturated your system with at least 12 oz of water before your feet hit the floor...before you begin your day.
Then throughout the day always have a bottle of water with you, on your desk, in your car …wherever you are. You may even entertain sipping hot water during the day as this has even more profound effects.
And with meals, well that's when you have the least amount of water. I enjoy a cup of hot water with lemon or ginger with meals. Find what pleases you, but keep in mind that you don't want to flush out all of the miracle digestive enzymes. You'll want them to remain in tack breaking down the meal you're having, correct?
